Hundreds of thousands of people, just like you and me, have been
evacuated because of destruction unleashed by Hurricane Alpha. We are all
responsible for making sure emergency supplies such as food, water, and other
essential items get to the children and families in the

already begun responding — sending shipments of food and emergency supplies,
donated for by generous people such as yourself and distributed in partnership
with local churches, mosques, and synagogues — to children and families in
need. Because the supplies have been been made
possible by donations from you, you will be responsible for the distribution of
urgently needed food and supplies to children and families who need them most.

Bush and others who've seen the devastation of Hurricane Alpha firsthand warn
that recovery will take years and that there are many people in need of
assistance right now. Victims or this disaster are trying to recover. By making
